The Balvenie Forty 40 year old Single Malt Scotch is a rare and coveted product, released in July 2010 exclusively for travel retail. Created by master malts David Stewart, this premium dram is aged for at least 40 years in three sherry butt casks and four refill hogsheads. Crafted using a blend of small amounts of original Balvenie from these seven hand-picked casks, it is bottled at a cask strength of 48.5% ABV and offers a nose and palate with rich honey and sherry tones.
