The 25-year-old Bowmore distillery’s 25-year-old single malt is a delightful blend of toffee and hazelnut, complemented by sweet peat smoke. Aged in American bourbon and Spanish sherry casks, it combines sherry with a coastal, smoky style for a sublime taste. Bowmore distillery is located in Bowmore town, the capital of the island district, on the southern shore of Loch Indaal, a large bay on the west coast of Islay.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Dark fruits and coastal smokiness. Slightly herbal.

Taste: Characteristic peat smoke, cocoa and dry, creamy nuttiness.

Finish: Gentle smoke, oak, mocha, hints of prunes.
