Description

The Glenmorangie Private Collection Sonnalta PX Pedro Ximenez Cask Finish Single Malt uses a traditional distillery technique of 10 years in bourbon and 2in sherry. The final aging is done using Pedro Ximenez barrels, custom-made Spanish oak barrels toasted inside. This results in a spirit with aromas of dried fruit, toasty oak, and roasted nuts, raisin and sherry flavors, and a persistent finish.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Chocolate, dried fruit, treacle, oak ginger, toasted almonds and vanilla.

Taste: Sweet and fruity with raisin, sherry and syrup pudding with ginger and cinnamon.

Finish: Long with treacle toffee, raisins, syrup and prunes
