Description
The 2010 Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection Maple Wood Finish Straight Bourbon is the fifth release in the series, featuring a Sugar Maple genus of oak. This highly porous oak is ideal for whiskey production, as it layers complexity with sweet maple syrup, honey, and cinnamon tones. Produced in an estimated 18,282 bottles worldwide and bottled at 47.2% ABV, the bourbon is aged for at least 4 years in charred American white oak barrels and finished in custom-made toasted sugar maple barrels. This limited-edition whiskey offers a nose of brown sugar, baked apricot cobbler, and melted chocolate, followed by a palate of cinnamon, roasted nuts, and a hint of maple syrup.
