Macallan, a prestigious distillery, has released a limited edition of their 2021 Rare Cask Single Malt Scotch. This exquisite whisky is crafted from rare sherry seasoned oak casks from their 200,000+ stock selection, hand-picked by their Whisky Mastery Team and Master of Wood, Bob Dalgarno. Launched in 2014 in the US, it is derived from 100% malted barley mash bill and matured in 16 first-fill sherry casks. Bottled at 43% ABV, it offers notes of vanilla and raisins, followed by dark chocolate and citrus.
