This rare and coveted Macallan 30-year-old Sherry Oak Blue Label single malt Scotch whisky is a sophisticated and scintillating expression. It was matured exclusively in Sherry oak casks and bottled in the late 90s. This imported US iteration features an original blue wooden presentation case. This sophisticated Scotch whisky was the final expression of the sherry oak 30-year-old before it was discontinued in favor of the Fine Oak range.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Sherry, earth, orange peel, chocolate and milk coffee. Plum, peach and pear. Oak.

Taste: Tannic bitter oak comes better than the nose with big tannins, that the sweet fruits balanced it beautiful. Especially orange jam and Plum. Sour, acidic citruses. Pepper, nutmeg and ginger. Coffee. All in a creamy, silky, buttery robe. Awesome

Finish: Long, clean, oaky and fruity.
