A Rare Discovery From Distant Shores is a single malt whisky from The Balvenie Stories Range, celebrating the collaboration between different spirits producers. Matured for 27 years, it spent its final seven years in ex-Caroni rum casks. The rare barrels were brought to the distillery by a meeting between head distiller David Stewart and John Barrett of Bristol Spirits, a rum bottler. The whisky celebrates the friendship and collaboration between different spirits producers.
