Suntory Hibiki is a 17-year-old blended whiskey that embodies the delicate sense of wonder and etherealness that echoes across Japan. The aroma is sweet with caramel frosted nuts and citrus lemon zest, followed by darkly ripe blackcurrants, baked pears, vanilla cream, and spiced sherry toffee.
The taste is a blend of deeply roasted oak, sweetly juiced ripe cherries, smoked caramel candies, and warm spice. The Hibiki 17-year-old Gold Box Edition blended whiskey is a swathe of Japanese silk wrapped in smoke, spice, and a kiss of caramel.
