Nikka Distillery utilizes the beauty of Japan, including its picturesque landscape and Mount Fuji, to create a unique whiskey. Their Miyagikyo 15 year old single malt whiskey is a prime example of this, with its complex nature, golden amber hue, and elegantly sublime flavor. The whiskey has rich aromas of fruit, dark sherry, sweet raisins, marzipan vanilla cream, and spicy cinnamon. The tongue is silky with raisins, sherry-soaked malt, and cinnamon, with a lasting thread of caramel. The whiskey has a long, spicy finish hazed in smoke.
