Description
Karuizawa, the smallest distillery in Japan, is known for its high-quality whisky made using the famous barley Golden Promise. The distillery used small batch distillation and aged the spirit in the finest Spanish sherry casks, resulting in a perfect malt. However, the market was not ready for this premium Japanese malt, leading to its closure in 2000. Karuizawa’s old stocks are now the most precious and rarest Japanese malt in the market, and it is expected to become a treasure for the rich soon.
