Bob Dylan’s Heaven’s Door Straight Rye whiskey is a golden-hewn masterpiece aged for 7 years in new charred American oak and finished for 6 months in Quercus Robur toasted oak cigar barrels from Vosges France. Sourced from MGP Distillery, it has a 95% rye and 5% malted barley mash bill and a matured barrel strength of 92% proof. The nose features dill, caramelized orange peel, warm chili, and mango slices dipped in vanilla, while the tongue experiences crisp dill pickles, caramel, nuts, cocoa, and vanilla butterscotch cream flavors.
