Elijah Craig introduced Toasted Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey in September 2020, using their Small Batch Bourbon as a base. Crafted from matured small-batch whiskey, it is barrel-proofed in custom toasted oak barrels made of 18-month-old air-dried oak. With a cask strength of 94-proof, it is derived from a mash bill containing 78% corn, 12% malted barley, and 10% rye. The nose features sweet marshmallows, caramel, vanilla, and baking spices, while the palate features graham cracker wafers, chocolate, caramelized nutmeg, pepper, and seasoned wood.
