Old Forester’s 150th Anniversary Batch Proof Bourbon is a limited edition release, launched in October 2020, featuring three iterations. Made from a mash bill containing 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley, it has a variable barrel strength of 125+ proof. The bourbon was crafted from 150 hand-selected wood-seasoned barrels, but three were lost due to evaporation. The remaining 147 barrels were divided into a tri-batched series, honoring George Garvin Brown’s original batching techniques. Each batch offers a unique tasting experience for all.
