Description
Old Forester 1910 Fine Kentucky straight bourbon, released in 2018, commemorates the first line of Brown-Forman Old Fine Whiskey. Made from barrels saved from a fire in 1910, this NAS bourbon has a 72% corn, 18% rye, 10% malted barley mash bill and a 93% proof finished barrel strength. It is matured in heavily charred barrels and has a nose with notes of roasted oak, caramel, cake batter, vanilla, and pecans. The palate offers sweet bites of burnt caramel and vanilla over layers of bush berries and marshmallows roasted over an open fire.
